Yep, talking. Not hugging, kissing, flirting, holding hands or whispering sweet nothings in each others' ears.

While mildly disappointing, Niall and Demi never said they were dating, though a source recently squealed to The Examiner in response to the whole Niall and Selena Gomez dating rumor, explaining, "Niall still has a crush on Demi Lovato, who's been Selena's friend for a long time. He wouldn't ruin his chances with Demi by dating Selena."
