The ladies in the musical world have truly held it down for girls all over this year.
This is the second year that Best Pop Solo Performance has been a category and the first year all
five 2013 Grammy nominees are female.
Adele won last year for "Someone Like You" and is back to defend her title with "Set Fire to the Rain (Live)." (What is it with Adele and song titles that start with an "S?" We still can't get "Skyfall" out of our heads.)
But Kelly Clarkson clearly isn't going down without a fight. What doesn't kill her makes her "Stronger," after all.
How do you think BFF's Katy Perry and Rihanna feel about going up against each other for the Grammy? Do you think "Wide Awake" or "Where Have You Been" can stage a surprise win?
And don't count out bubbly Canadian pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen. Can her hit song "Call Me Maybe" be her first Grammy win? Maybe. If the category were Solo Song We Sang in Our Sleep, definitely.
Who do you think will win Best Pop Solo Performance?
