Thomas Mann and Zoey Deutch 'Beautiful Creatures' junketWho do you think chose the best superpower?

Creatures that are beautiful?

Nope, but good guess.

Beautiful Creatures is a film based upon the novel (of the same name) by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. It is a supernatural love story between Lena Duchannes (Alice Englert) and Ethan Wate (Alden Ehrenreich). Lena's family has a history of possessing dark powers, and she soon has to make a choice between the dark or light side.

Lena's love interest, Ethan, is "a young guy from a small town that's just desperate to experience something bigger," Alden says. Ethan is drawn to Lena, "a 15-year-old girl experiencing those same kind of insecurities," says Alice.
Viola Davis might be playing a librarian by day but by night, "She's this keeper of this library which is a gateway to other worlds," she explains.

What a cool-sounding superpower. But what about real-life superpowers? "I'd like to be invisible," Emmy Rossum told us. "Sometimes it's interesting to observe people."

"I would fly, because I would just use it to get around," Thomas Mann says. "The 405 [notoriously high-traffic L.A. freeway]!" adds Zoey Deutsch.

Beautiful Creatures will be released on February 14, Valentine's Day.
