While he was absent from the Grammy Awards this year, the band The Black Keys wasn't. They actually took home three awards!
When the band's drummer, Patrick Carney, was asked at a Grammy after-party his thoughts on Bieber, he opened up a can of worms!
TMZ caught up with Carney as he was leaving Hollywood's Chateau Marmont early Monday morning and asked him if he had any advice for aspiring Grammy winners.
"Buy a minivan and go on tour," he said.
When the interviewer pressed harder and asked for Carney's take on whether Bieber deserved to be snubbed by Grammy voters, he said, "I dunno ... He's rich, right? Grammys are for like music, not for money ... and he's making a lot of money. He should be happy."
We disagree with him, but that's besides the point...
Justin caught wind of Pat's response and took to Twitter, of course.
"the black keys drummer should be slapped around haha," Bieber tweeted.
There's been bad blood between JB and the Grammys after he was snubbed from the awards this year. In response, Justin tried to have a live chat during the show's airtime, but it failed. He later released a snip of some of his new music.
