In the season finale, Toby is back and reunites with Spencer...but are they up to good or evil? In the season three finale of Pretty Little Liars, Spencer's family is planning a soiree in her honor now that she's out of Radley (although they told people she was there for "exhaustion" a la Lindsay Lohan). The Liars want to show Malcolm a picture of Mona to see if she's the person who picked him up last week, but Aria insists Ezra's son be left out of it. But Hannah decides to get involved anyway, offering to babysit.

Speaking of Ezra, Aria's dad insists she no longer see him if he's going to be a teacher at Rosewood High. Ezra offers to turn down the job but Aria says he should take it. Looks like it's splitsville for this twosome!

But here's some good news for one of Rosewood's couples: Toby is alive! He's not dead after all, as he appears in a diner to meet another hooded A member: Spencer. He claims everything he's done for the A team is try to protect her. Mona has told Spencer that Toby would be her reward on Friday if she brings the girls to the party.

Spencer also confesses that she's the one who kidnapped Malcolm because Mona asked her to. She flees to a hotel with Toby, where he claims they'll be safe. As for the mysterious red coat, Toby says he doesn't know who she is either but that she's the one in charge. And cue the makeout scene! We've missed seeing Toby shirtless.

At the swim meet, Spencer spots red coat and follows her into the bathroom...and it's Hanna! Apparently she passed the Liars test, who assume that if Spencer followed Red Coat, she doesn't know the identity and she's still on their side. Spencer explains that Toby is still on their side and now there's two of them on the inside, they'll be ready for Red Coat Friday night.

And they are! The Liars, minus Spencer who's with Toby, surprise Mona before Red Coat arrives. But everyone's surprised when the house suddenly catches on fire, trapping them inside. In her panic, Mona admits she never knew who Red Coat was either. Is it really Ali, who some of the girls saw pulling them out of the fire? Who shot Toby with a tranquilizer and planted a lighter by his side? Who pulled Detective Wilden's car out of the lake...and why did Jenna and Shawna help him? And what in the world was in the trunk?!

So many questions...guess we'll have to wait until next season to find out more!
