Khloé Kardashian Odom and her husband, Lamar Odom, reportedly misappropriated funds from Lamar's Cathy's Kids charity. Uh oh!
Looks like Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom have walked right in to their first official scandal.
Back in 2004, Lamar founded a charity called Cathy's Kids (in honor of his late mother, who battled stomach cancer), which was designed to raise money for cancer research and underprivileged children.
However, after a recent investigation, it was discovered that of the $2.2 million the organization raised, over 60% of it went toward funding two elite youth basketball teams.
What's worse, the report claims that NONE of the money actually ever made it to any kind of charity.
As for where the rest of the funds went, Lamar's friend Jerry DeGregorio, who was secretary of the charity from 2004 to 2011, received a whopping $72,000 a year salary for his involvement.
The charity claims to have been operating at a loss since its creation, despite the $2.2 million they raised.
When Lamar was questioned about the dispersion of funds, he reportedly defended his actions, saying, "It's my money..."
Lamar has since removed the link to Cathy's Kids from his website, while Khloé has left a link up where she sells her clothes and reportedly donates the money to the organization.
Are you shocked by Khloe and Lamar's alleged charity scam?
