It might have been an elimination night, but American Idol also gained some new history!

Tonight's results show started with Ryan Seacrest pairing the finalists together. First called to the stage were last week's top 3, Angie Miller, Lazaro Arbos and Kree Harrison.

They split into three different groups, with Janelle Arthur joining Angie, Amber Holcomb paired up with Lazaro and Candice Glover next to Kree.

The top 2 were (of course) our girls Candice and Kree, followed by Angie and Janelle. That left Amber and Lazaro at the bottom of the (six) pack.

Lazaro left his heart on the stage with his performance of "Feeling Good," but it wasn't enough to get saved by the judges.

This marks the first time ever on Idol that the last five remaining finalists are all female!

Check out our post-show interview with Lazaro here!
