And talk about great timing...Pitch Perfect is nominated for four MTV Movie Awards tonight (Best Female, Best Breakthrough Performance, Best Musical Moment, and Best WTF Moment).
As an added bonus, the cast will be opening the show with a mash-up of songs from the movie.
The only bummer is that Anna won't be able to join her Pitch Perfect co-stars on stage because she is in New York working on her new movie, The Last Five Years.
However, we've been given this little gift that definitely serves as a sufficient consolation prize.
In the director's cut for "Cups," Anna is an over-worked waitress at a diner who discovers the cool sound the cups make while she's in the back making biscuits.
Soon, she has the whole diner playing the catchy tune right along with her.
After a few minutes of fun, Anna must return to the kitchen to check on the biscuits.
She looks and admires the patrons who are all able to have a good time, while she's stuck in the back working. To add insult to injury, she gets a dirty look from her boss and finally decides she's had enough.
Just as the buzzer dings on the oven, she sneaks out the back door....letting the "you're gonna miss me when I'm gone" lyrics speak for themselves.
Check out the video for "Cups" above and tell us what you think.
