Christina Aguilera explains what it's like watching The Voice since she's left and what she thinks of new judges Shakira and Usher. Christina Aguilera was one of the original judges for The Voice, along with Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.
While Blake and Adam stayed on for season 4, Christina and Cee Lo left to pursue other opportunities.
Now, Christina is weighing in on how she feels about new judges Shakira and Usher and whether or not she's been watching this season.
In a recent interview, the former judge tells Access Hollywood, "The other day, I did catch an episode of it and it was the first episode I ever even saw of it because...I give so much as a coach, I'm like, 'I'm out.' I'm in sweatpants, I'm with my kid and I just de-compartmentalize it."
She also said that being able to watch it from the viewers' perspective has given her a chance to appreciate why the audience loves it so much.
As for how she feels about new judges Usher and Shakira, Christina has nothing but good things to say. "It's interesting to see Usher in Cee Lo's chair, and to see Shakira in mine," she said. "It's part of The Voice family and I feel their energy. They're leaving it positive."
We're glad to see she's still so supportive of the show...and while Christina and Cee Lo are definitely missed, we're loving the new dynamic with Usher and Shakira!
