Ryan Lochte heads to Washington D.C. with his mom. On this week's episode of What Would Ryan Lochte Do?, Ryan Lochte goes to Washington D.C. to give a speech for a muscular dystrophy charity...but before he goes, he has a few things he needs to take care of.
First, Ryan needs to get fitted for a suit.
When he shows up to the suit fitting wearing boxer briefs, his mother is appalled and tells him it's inappropriate (although every female watching the show begs to differ!)
After the suit fitting, Ryan's mom asks if he has his speech planned and he tells her he's just going to wing it. When she tells him she doesn't think that's necessarily the greatest plan, Ryan appeases his mom and jots down a (very) rough outline.
Once they arrive in Washington D.C., Ryan and his mom are eager to go out and enjoy the city.
They hit most of the major monuments and Ryan's mom has a monumental achievement herself when she almost perfects the pronunciation of her son's signature saying, "Jeah!"
While the two are out to dinner, Ryan is approached by a woman who wants him to join her and her friends.
Not being able to resist a group of gorgeous women, Ryan leaves his mom to fend for herself at the bar while he chats up the Washington D.C. ladies who immediately begin asking him political questions.
Ryan quickly realizes he is out of his element and decides to go back to his "date" with his mom.
The next morning, Ryan and his mom head down to the charity event where he will be giving his speech.
As soon as Ryan's name is announced as the next speaker, she plants a giant kiss on his cheek, which he didn't seem to mind (and we thought was adorable!)
Ryan ends up giving a pretty good, heartfelt speech...which naturally makes his mom cry.
Little did she know, that was just the beginning of the sweet surprises her son had up his sleeve!
After the two return home, Ryan tells his mom that he wants to take her out for lunch and, as a token of his appreciation for her unconditional love and support, he surprises her with a brand new car.
Ryan's mom is obviously thrilled and we couldn't help but smile seeing her so happy sitting in her new ride.
