Did police go to Amanda Bynes' house? Was she suicidal? What's Jenny McCarthy have to do with it?
Did police show up at Amanda Bynes' New York City home last night?
According to tweets from Jenny McCarthy, cops were called to Amanda's place.
Jenny tweeted: "Police are at @AmandaBynes house. I hope they get her help. Enough of this circus. She needs help."
How did she know?
Jenny included her proof--tweets from her publicist, Jonathan Jaxson, who is reportedly Amanda's former publicist.
While he did delete some of his tweets, he wrote: "I just spoke to @AmandaBynes and she is soooo messed up on drugs and please @NY_POLICE find her and help her! I don't know her address!"
He also wrote: "She ( @amandabynes ) was clearly suicidal & I pray she will get help! God will lift her up & I hope the media will STOP praising her antics!"
Jonathan tweeted about his decision to get Amanda help, writing: "If trying to help someone you feel is in trouble is a crime, then there is a problem. A cry for help is just that! I did what I KNEW to do!"
Later he explained, "I personally decided to delete certain tweets because the last thing I want anyone to think is tonight was about me. It was about another!"
This all went down shortly after Amanda tweeted new pics of herself topless.
We'll keep you posted as more develops...
UPDATE: As you would expect, Amanda took to Twitter this morning to respond to Jenny, tweeting: "@JennyMcCarthy you're ugly! Police weren't at my house old lady! Shut the f**k up!"
She added: "@jennymccarthy I need help? What are u talking about? Aren't u 50 years old? I'm 27, u look 80 compared to me! Why are you talking about me?"
Jenny responded: "@AmandaBynes sorry girl. Looking out for ya."
UPDATE 2: Amanda retweeted Jenny's response and had a change of heart about dissing McCarthy, tweeting: "@JennyMcCarthy thanks! I'm sorry I offended you! You're beautiful! I was lying! I'll delete our tweets!"
