Singer says he can't be focused on "wife-ing someone that young" and celebrates his birthday with his ex Chris Brown is officially a single man these days.
While breakup buzz swirled about him and Rihanna last month, Chris confirmed the split himself in a recent radio interview.
"Imma do it solo," Chris said of his 24th birthday party plans. "I mean, at the end of the day, shawty doing her own thing, she on the road. It's always gonna be love. I'm a grown man, just gotta fast forward."
It sounds like Chris thought things were getting too serious with Ri Ri. "I'm always gonna love that person," he told The Kyle and Jackie Show. "I can't be focused on wife-ing someone that young. I need to the best Chris Brown I can be."
It doesn't seem like Chris is too broken up about the break up, considering he celebrated his birthday at Hollywood club Emerson this weekend with his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran this weekend.
Rihanna is keeping busy as well. She performed her 'Diamonds' tour in Brooklyn this weekend and caught a Brooklyn Nets game courtside.
