We chat with the remaining 12 contestants on The Voice to find out what it was like finding out they made it through to the next round and what it was like seeing their friends go home. Last night, tensions were running high during The Voice Live Results show. We were nervous just watching, which means it must have been ten times worse for the contestants.
After the show, the Top 12 talked to us and explained exactly what it was like being up on that stage on live TV and finding out whether they got to continue in the competition or not.
The hardest part, they told us, was that they have all become like a family, so the inevitability that four friends that they've grown to love were going to be sent home was really difficult to deal with.
Judith Hill said the mood was very heavy and that "...just the thought of any of us leaving...everyone was just feeling it."
Of course, there was also the stress of worrying about whether or not they would be sent home. The Swon Brothers said waiting to hear the results was excruciating... "ah, man...you talk about making you sick," Zach Swon told us.
Check out the video above to hear Michelle Chamuel, Danielle Bradbery and more of your favorites from the Top 12 share their feelings on the results and what it was like seeing their friends be sent home.
