Carrie Underwood recently talked about those American Idol judging rumors. Find out what she said and if we can expect her on the judging panel next season!
Carrie UnderwoodWill Carrie Underwood be a judge on American Idol next season?

Probably not!

In a recent interview with E!, the country singer admitted that the show execs haven't asked her to be a judge yet and if they did, she'd probably decline their offer.

""I haven't been asked," she revealed to E! at the CMT Awards Wednesday night.

"My world's pretty busy. I have The Sound of Music this fall so even if they did ask I'd be like, 'Eh, I don't know. I don't think that would work.'"

But then she stuck up for her fellow contestants and said, "But who would know better than people who had already been through it all?"

We already know former Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson has signed on to be a judge next season.

Too bad Carrie wouldn't accept the offer, she'd be a GREAT American Idol judge!

Who else should they get on the Idol judging panel? Let us know!
