The 27-year-old previously said she's "looking forward to a long and wonderful career as a singer/rapper," and now she's closer to making that a reality.
"The fact that Amanda wants to do hip hop music means that Chinga Chang label is the best place for her to do this, because of my past experience with bringing pop and legitimate hip hop together," Daniel Herman of Chinga Chang records tells Radar.
In fact, he thinks Amanda's a better fit for the hip hop industry than Drake, who she often Tweets about.
"I think that she's more gangster than Drake," Herman said, adding that he's "reached out to Amanda's attorneys to negotiate the deal."
Amanda called Drake ugly again yesterday on Twitter, writing: "I only like @Drake because he's so ugly! His ugly cheeks at the EA conference! Fine he is not, but he knows he's ugly! I've spoken to him!"
