'The Voice' semi-finalist Amber Carrington definitely didn't have her best week this week when she sang Katy Perry's "Firework" and Maroon 5's "Sad." See what Amber has to say about the two performances.

It was very obvious that this week wasn't The Voice semi-finalist Amber Carrington's best week.

The usually strong country singer struggled a lot with her first song, Katy Perry's "Firework," and just didn't seem like herself during her second song, "Sad."

While many have been quick to criticize Amber's performance, nobody has been harder on the aspiring singer than herself.

"I could not sing this week worth a flip," Amber told TODAY.com. "My (iTunes) recording session was horrible. 'Firework' killed me all week."

She said that she was having issues with her throat and had to go to the doctor to get checked out.

Amber confessed that she's "cried so many times this week" and says that it's been really stressful for her.

Fortunately for Amber, even her second best is still pretty impressive!
