Kim Kardashian and Kanye West named their daughter North West. Many people wondered if she would be teased about the unusual name, but Kris Jenner explains why doesn't think that will happen. There is no denying that Kim Kardashian chose an unusual name when she decided to name her North West.
Many people have wondered if the child will be teased when she goes to school because, let's face it, kids can be mean and that name seems like perfect fuel for their fire.
Kim's mom, Kris Jenner, however, is confident that little North won't be mocked for her name when she starts school in a couple of years.
On Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen asked Kris if she thought it was a possibility that North's name would be the butt of her peers' jokes. "No, because you don't walk around saying, 'Hi, North West.' You walk around saying, 'Hi North' or whatever her nickname may end up being," she explained.
She added that people don't come up to her and say "Hi, Kris Jenner," they simply address her by her first name.
She actually has a point, there. Plus, Kim and Kanye West are calling the baby "Nori" for short. So, unless those kids are sushi connoisseurs ("Nori" is the seaweed that is used to wrap sushi), she shouldn't have a problem with that one, either.
