Kris Jenner's new talk show premieres July 15 on Fox and rumors are already swirling that the Kardashian matriarch is butting heads with production executives, so Cambio went straight to the source. See what the executive producer of Kris' show told us. Kris Jenner's new show, Kris, hasn't even hit the airwaves yet and already there are rumors about what's going on behind the scenes of the highly-anticipated talk show.
Early on, there was speculation that Kim Kardashian was going to debut baby North West on the show. Then, there was talk that Khloe Kardashian would be making an appearance to announce her pregnancy.
Now, a new report by RadarOnline claims that the Kardashian matriarch is already "butting heads" with executives over the format and direction of the show.
"Kris is used to calling the shots with the Kardashian reality shows at E!, but she isn't used to taking orders from anyone," their source said.
So, what's her supposed beef about?
According to the report, Kris did not want a co-host for the first part of the show, feeling it was unnecessary.
Beyond that, they claim, "There have been big problems in booking celebrity guests, and the celebrity co-hosts are primarily being drawn from talent at Telepictures, which is producing the show,"
Cambio went straight to the source, Robert Lifton (who, contrary to the report, is the SOLE executive producer of the show) and here's what he told us:
"Perhaps they should try fact checking - this is a Fox show; Telepictures has nothing to do with it. That should tell you something about their, ahem, 'reporting.' About the only kernel of truth in that story is that Kris has her own talk show. It debuts Monday July 15th on select Fox stations, by the way."
Well, that takes care of that!
Kris may be assertive, but she's a smart business woman and we bet she wants to give her show every chance for success.
Will you be tuning in to Kris' show when it premieres?
