Kim Kardashian gave birth to baby North West at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on June 15 and after the hospital found out that staff members had "improperly accessed" her records, six employees were fired. Kim Kardashian gave birth to baby North West at one of LA's top hospitals, Cedars-Sinai, which is the hospital equivalent of a Hollywood hotspot, especially when it comes to celebrity baby births.

Kourtney Kardashian, Jessica Simpson, Victoria Beckham, Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz and Pink have all given birth to one or more children at the famed hospital.

So, you would think that the staff wouldn't think twice about Kim Kardashian being there when she delivered baby North.

Think again!

According to the Los Angeles Times, six people have been fired after they "improperly accessed" the reality star's records.

The report states that Kim and 13 other patients' records were accessed between June 18 and June 24 (Kim gave birth on June 15 and stayed until June 20).

Kim apparently knew something might be up when information that they hadn't told anyone somehow made its way into the media, TMZ is reporting.

Still, they say that Cedars informed Kim of the breach and she is glad that the hospital handled it the way they did.

Kim certainly isn't the first celeb to have someone snoop through their medical records.

George Clooney, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Farrah Fawcett have all had the same thing happen to them at other hospitals.

Are you surprised that this happened to Kim at such a celebrity-friendly hospital?
