Matthew Morrison paid a special tribute to his 'Glee' co-star Cory Monteith, who was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room. Get the details on Matthew's dedication to Cory, and how truly special he was to the man who played Cory's teacher and mentor on the show. Following Cory Monteith's tragic death, the outpouring of sorrow from his Glee co-stars has really brought home what an important part of their lives he was.
Cory's Glee co-star Matthew Morrison had a fitting tribute for the young star--dedicating a performance of "What I Did for Love" from A Chorus Line.
During a performance today at 54 Below in NYC, Matthew changed his opening number after talking about Cory's death and calling him a brother.
Matthew sang "What I Did for Love," which Lea Michele sang in Glee's second season.
He told the crowd, "You guys came to see a show, I came to perform a show, so that's what we'll do. And we'll do it in Cory's honor."
It can't be easy to get on stage and perform while mourning the loss of someone that was truly special in Matthew's life.
