Lady Gaga didn't have the best year in 2012. She was sidelined in February for hip surgery, which forced her to cancel what was left of her "Born This Way" tour.
That being the case, it would be pretty safe to assume that taking 10 months off might mean the singer took a huge hit financially.
Although it did hurt her a little bit, she still landed the top spot on Forbes' "Top-Earning Celebs Under 30" list. According to the mag, Gaga raked in $80 million over the past 12 months, even though the tour itself earned an estimated $32 million less than it would have, had she finished it.
Justin Bieber secured the second spot on the list, earning $58 million over the past year and Taylor Swift was right behind him with $55 million in earnings.
Well, we suppose "not far behind" is relative, considering the $3 million gap, which, to the rest of us, is a life-changing amount of money.
Other stars on the list include: Calvin Harris ($46 million), Rihanna ($43 million), Katy Perry ($39 million), Jennifer Lawrence ($26 million), Adele ($25 million) and Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner with $22 million apiece.
