Mariah Carey's husband pens a heartfelt letter of support to his "sister" and former Nickelodeon costar Amanda Bynes, who's currently in being treated in a psych ward Amanda Bynes is getting some support from her former Nickelodeon costar Nick Cannon.
Nick, who worked with Amanda on All That, wrote a heartfelt open letter to her, calling the troubled 27-year-old "one of the most pleasant human beings I have had the pleasure of meeting."
Amanda's currently in a psych ward under a 5150 mandatory hold after she started a fire in a stranger's driveway, and Nick says while he would sometimes give humorous replies when reporters asked him about Amanda, this is "no laughing matter."
The America's Got Talent host calls Amanda his "sister" and encourages her to reach out to him anytime. "So I say to my sister Amanda Bynes you're not alone," Nick writes. "I'm here for you. I understand. I care and I appreciate you, because that's what family does and that's what family is for. I'm here! Call me!"
"I truly believe, the hand you're helping up today may be the one you're reaching for tomorrow," Nick concludes.
What a nice letter for Nick to write! We're glad Amanda is doing better and that the treatment seems to be helping her.
