Back in 2009, she confessed to People magazine that she knew if she hadn't gotten help for her problems, she would have died.

Now, in a new interview with Cosmopolitan UK, Kelly is celebrating the success of completely turning her life around. In doing so, she is also revealing some shocking new details about just how bad her life had gotten before she got clean.

"I've been to rehab seven times and to two mental institutions," she admits. "My mum even had me put in a padded cell once to scare me, but like a brat I just sat it out until she said, 'Well, that's not going to work.'"

She also admits that she used to hide her drugs so that she wouldn't have to share them with other users.

So, what finally made her decide it was time to get clean?

"What changed for me was looking around and seeing that nobody liked me or wanted to work with me," she said.

We're so glad Kelly was able to clean up her life...and boy, does she clean up well!
