The singer, who has long been an outspoken supporter of gay rights, was recently handed a rainbow flag (video below) when she was performing on stage in Sydney, Australia.
Not surprisingly, the "So What" singer proudly wore and waved the flag, which is a commonly recognized gay pride symbol, as she continued her performance.
Well, apparently that didn't sit well with some of her fans. Almost as soon as the video hit the Internet, Pink began being attacked by her Twitter fans who called her a lesbian.
Fun fact:when you twitter me and say "you're a lesbian" it really doesn't bother me at all. It's a compliment. Most of my fav ppl are, so...- P!nk (@Pink) August 4, 2013
...and in case that wasn't clear enough, she then followed up with:
I'm sure all of you hate filled humans can come up with something a little worse than that?!? Come on- be creative. You have 140 characters!- P!nk (@Pink) August 4, 2013
Clearly, anyone who thinks they're going to insult Pink by calling her a lesbian needs to think again...
