Katy Perry's new song "Roar" is a great song...but some critics are saying it sounds a little too much like Sara Bareilles' song "Brave." Listen to both and tell us what you think.

Katy Perry released her new song "Roar" on August 12 and fans are really liking the new single...but, some are saying it sounds a little too similar to "Brave," a recent song by Sara Bareilles.

The tunes do share the same upbeat tone and Katy ironically tweeted to Sara about the song back in May, writing "I heart you @sarabareilles," with a YouTube link to the track.

While the songs sound different enough, the one part that sticks out the most to us is when Katy sings "...and you're gonna hear me roar," which does sound strikingly similar to when Sara sings "I wanna see you be brave..." in her song.

Listen to both tracks below and let us know what you think.

Did Katy copy Sara or is the similar sound just a coincidence?
