The troubled actress, who's been in a Ventura County psychiatric facility under a mandatory hold that was extended for 30 days last week, has transferred to UCLA hospital for further treatment, per TMZ.
They report that her mom, who's been granted temporary conservatorship of her daughter, requested the move because UCLA has one the best pysch facilities in the country.
Amanda's mother reportedly wanted to move her there earlier, but a bed didn't become available until Thursday.
The 27-year-old stayed hidden under a blanket while moving to the new facility. She's still being treated for schizophrenia, TMZ reports, but doctors continue to run tests to evalaute her.
Sources say Amanda had been showing signs of improvement recently, so we're hoping the UCLA staff can help her even more.
