Katy Perry's performance was the perfect way to close out the VMAs!
The singer had to duck out of the show early to head over to the Brooklyn Bridge so she could perform her new hit single "Roar," but now we see why she wanted the change of venue.
During the athletic performance, Katy showed off some pretty cool moves and even jumped rope atop the gold boxing ring.
Thanks to some cool camera work, there are some pretty neat shots of the Brooklyn Bridge behind her, which made the whole thing feel dramatically triumphant.
Check out the video above and tell us what you think of Katy's first live performance of "Roar."
