The "Suit & Tie" singer who won big at the VMAs comes to Miley's defense, comparing her performance to Madonna and Britney and saying it's "not like she did it at the Grammys" 2013 MTV Video Music Awards - ShowShe's just being Miley...at least, according to Justin Timberlake, that is!

The "Mirrors" singer, who won big at the VMAs, came to Miley Cyrus' defense when asked his thoughts on her much-talked about raunchy performance with Robin Thicke at the show.

"I like Miley. I like her a lot," JT told Fresh 102.7 Tuesday of the 20-year-old. "I think, you know, she's young. She's letting everyone know she's growing up."

Justin, a fellow VMA performer and former Disney star himself, said the VMAs are the right place to be over the top. "I just think it's the VMAs. It's not like she did it at the Grammys," he explained. "Let her do her thing, you know?"

He even drew comparisons between Miley's twerkfest and other VMA shockers. "Madonna: wedding suit, humping the stage. Britney: Strip tease. This is not an uncommon thing!"

Do you agree with Justin or do you think Miley was inappropriate?
