"I pitched three songs to them and they were all turned down... I pitched songs to Twilight and they were turned down as well. I don't know if my songs fit in films," Ed said during an interview with Click 98.9.

During the same interview he talked about dating singer Ellie Goulding. Click here for those details!

Instead of going with Taylor Swift's BFF, the movie peeps went with bands like Coldplay, who just released a song from the new Hunger Games soundtrack.

We're sure they're regretting leaving Ed out now! It seems like everyone can't get enough of him these days and he has some really famous and powerful friends!

As for the Hunger Games, well its sequel, Catching Fire, hits theaters on November 22!
