One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has been sidelined from playing football for the Doncaster Rovers. Read what Louis said about not playing in the upcoming soccer match. Hope you're on the mend soon, Louis!
Ugh. Louis Tomlinson took quite a hit at last week's charity football match (remember when he had to leave the field and threw up?) and the injury has sidelined him.
Louis, who was tackled by Aston Villa forward Gabriel Agbonlahor, really got hurt.
The One Direction star took to Twitter to break the sad news that he's been sidelined by the injury and will not be playing with Doncaster Rovers at their September 18 match.
He will, however, make the cutest bench warmer ever. So there's that.
Louis tweeted: "Unfortunately due to injury I cannot play at this week's Doncaster Rovers match. I will still be attending the match on the bench."
He added that he will be playing in the future--way in the future--and that fans can get a refund, if they like: "I will play in another game in 2014, to be announced. Fans that have bought tickets for the match can apply for a full refund. Alternatively they can still attend the match and buy a ticket for the rescheduled game at a reduced price of £3 :)"
"Fans who do not wish to attend may also keep their ticket and exchange it for the rescheduled match, again for a reduced price of £3," he explained.
Louis noted, "I'm really sorry I can't play. I'm gutted."
Feel better, Louis!
