Katy Perry and Britney Spears have been named among the "Most Dangerous Web Celebs" by the PC security firm McAfee. The celebs themselves don't actually pose a public danger, but links... These two might not look like a threat, but they have been named among the "Most Dangerous Celebrities."

So, what gives?

The list is put out every year by the PC security firm McAfee and it assesses the risk that clicking on links of each celebrity poses to the PC-using public.

Katy Perry was ranked No. 6 and Britney Spears was No. 7 on the top 10.

The number one most dangerous web celeb was Lily Collins, with the report saying that if you search for the Mirror, Mirror star, you run a 14.5% risk of landing on a malicious website.

They also note that the worst thing a user can do is add "free downloads" to any search query, so that is something to be mindful of, too.
