No one doubts that Glee's Amber Riley can sing, and after Monday's high score on Dancing With the Stars no one doubts that she can dance either.
But where did she get those moves, and how did she get ready for DWTS? Check out the silly dance video she posted on Instagram before the show's premiere. It looks like the secret to her DWTS success is keeping a sense of humor about the whole thing. We love the bra with tassels over her dress and how she practices her twirls with an imaginary partner.
But Amber also had a secret weapon: Glee's resident dance pro Mike Chang (Harry Shum Jr.). At the recent Sega 'Go Dance" video game launch party in NYC, Harry confessed to helping his cast mate. He gushed like a proud papa about her drive to succeed, saying, "She really wants to win and I think she can; she has a great partner and great natural ability." But the Glee connection doesn't stop there. During New York Fashion week, she told People that her partner Derek Hough reminds her of her Glee co-star "Chord [Overstreet]."
We love the new Glee-DWTS connection! Our only question: Why did it take DWTS so long to cast someone from McKinley High?
