Zac allegedly sought treatment for cocaine addiction twice, as TMZ notes the return to treatment was "after a major relapse."
Sources have told TMZ that Zac was allegedly doing cocaine for more than two years, as well as Molly.
In March he reportedly went to rehab which involved "intensive outpatient care for several weeks."
The relapse, according to TMZ's sources, came when he began shooting Neighbors with Seth Rogen, with Zac reportedly not showing up to set on several occasions.
Following the filming, Zac was said to have returned to rehab for outpatient care.
TMZ lists multiple reasons (according to their sources) for Zac's cocaine addiction, including issues with his parents, concerns about his movie career, and "girl issues," as well as being around "a bad group of friends."
A friend of Zac's told Us Magazine that the actor "realized he needed outside help," adding, "He reached out for it and is doing great now."
The source added, "He's in a good place. He's clean and he's happy. He's a good kid!"
Another friend told the site, "He just needed to find himself."
