Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards' wedding plans may face a snag, according to a new report.
British magazine Star reports that their planning is "up in the air" at the moment.
We reported last week about buzz that Perrie and Zayn are set to get hitched in June 2014.
Planning a big wedding isn't going to be easy for the couple, who each have their hectic schedules pulling them in different directions.
A source tells the magazine (via Independent.ie), "They've had to discuss waiting until next June, although neither of them wants to wait. Perrie has confided that she sometimes feels like the odds are stacked against them and that they're never going to find a date that works for everyone. Everything is up in the air."
The insider added, "Zayn and Perrie are dreading having to spend the next couple of months apart while One Direction tour Australia and New Zealand."
Given their ages and demanding careers, the source noted that friends and family want them to take their time.
"Everyone hoped that Perrie and Zayn would have a long engagement because marriage is such a big step at their age," the source said.
They added, "Their families are reassuring them there's no need to rush and they have their whole lives ahead of them."
Do you think Perrie and Zayn will set a wedding date for the end of this year, get married next summer...or wait longer?
