Britney Spears got tons of money for her Pepsi deal in 2001, earning a reported $8 million, but the funny thing is that she used that money to invest in their arch rival, Coca-Cola! Britney Spears made a reported $8 million from her deal with Pepsi back in 2001.

As part of her contract, the pop star did a couple of commercials as well as some print ads. Probably the most memorable was her commercial with Pink and Beyonce, where the singers all entered a gladiator-style arena while "We Will Rock You" played in the background.

The ironic thing, though, is that according to Britney's conservatorship documents obtained by TMZ, BritBrit actually poured the money into Pepsi's nemesis, Coca-Cola.

Apparently, she once held 782 shares in the company, before selling 574 of them for a profit of about $3,200.

Not much, considering the documents show that Britney has about $13 million of her conservatorship funds invested in the market.

Are you surprised that Britney poured the Pepsi money into Coke?
