Did you happen to watch the Emmy Awards last night? Well if so, you probably caught Carrie Underwood's Beatles cover. If not, then from what people are saying online, you didn't miss much!

The country singer sang the rock group's legendary song "Yesterday" and while we thought she did a pretty good job, others on Twitter didn't seem to think so at all.

"Some people never forget where they were when JFK got shot, but I will never forget where I was when Carrie Underwood murdered The Beatles," @seanoconnz posted after she sang.

"Carrie Underwood is guilty of murder. She just slaughtered "Yesterday." #Emmys," news anchor Jeremy Hubbard tweeted.

"Nobody should try to cover a Beatles song. I absolutely love Carrie Underwood but that was just bad," @LibbeyMoore posted.

Even if her fans or the Beatles fans didn't like her version of the classic, the man himself gave her his blessing before her performance.

"The coolest thing about singing "Yesterday" on the #Emmys is the sweet letter I got from @PaulMcCartney giving me his blessing to sing it!" she tweeted.
