Miley Cyrus and the Jonas BrothersWe all know Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift aren't really BFFs these days but that doesn't mean they weren't buddies once before!

According to OK! Magazine, Miley and T-Swift were really good friends a few years ago, around the time Miley was dating Nick Jonas, but their friendship didn't last too long.

"Miley and Taylor used to be really close, but they fell out over boys way back in 2008. There were a lot of complications that began when Miley was dumped by Nick Jonas and Taylor took up with Nick's brother Joe Jonas," a source close to the ladies told the mag.

"Miley started getting a bit edgy and cocky, and Taylor ran away, taking the Jonas brothers with her! It was as if Miley lost her girlfriend, boyfriend and a friend in a matter of months--it was pretty rough on her."

If that's the case, the girls' beef hasn't stopped yet. Almost everyone assumed Miley dissed Taylor in her recent Rolling Stone interview when she referenced famous girls showing up to the VMAs dressed like Vanna White. Her comment came after Taylor was seen laughing at Miley during her raunchy VMAs performance.

It's obvious there's some kind of awkwardness going on between the two singers. Do you think it's really over the Jonas Brothers? Maybe it's just jealousy and rivalry in the music world? Chime in!
