Last week, she said in an interview that she lost both Cory and his character, Finn.
Life goes on for Lea, but a source tells People.com, she "still misses him every day," though "it's getting a little easier."
The insider added, "She talks about Cory all the time."
Lea "doesn't like to be alone. Her friends have really been helping her through it," the source explained.
Another friend told the site, "She's really struggled. It was hard to get up every morning. But now, she's doing okay."
And indeed, it looks like Lea is doing her best, taking it day by day, as she posted some pics over the weekend from her album photo shoot.
She tweeted, "So excited because today I'm shooting the cover for my album! Working with the amazing photographer Peggy Sirota! #Album"
Lea added, "Sneak peek of today's #AlbumCoverShoot!"
She also thanked the fans, tweeting: "Thank you to the best team in the whole world today for an amazing shoot! ... I'm so excited for u guys to hear my album. It's so special to me. Im so grateful for u all. Thank u for giving me so much love & support."
