Christina Milian's Dancing With the Stars elimination took her by surprise. Find out what the "Dip It Low" singer had to say after she and her partner Mark Ballas got the boot. Christina Milian's Dancing With the Stars elimination took her by surprise.

Following guest judge Julianne Hough's tough critique on Christina and her dance partner Mark Ballas, the couple was sent packing, getting the boot on the show Monday night.

"I was shocked, for sure," the "Dip It Low" crooner told reporters after the show, according to Us Weekly. "I'm not saying it should have been anyone else, but, to be honest with you, after having a great performance you feel a lot more confident, but in the back of your mind you know a lot of this is determined by votes."

"A lot of it has to do with that and we knew last week wasn't the best week based on everything with Julianne [Hough] and all the stuff that happened, so we weren't sure what the outcome would be. I guess it just didn't work out."

Following their performance Oct. 7, the Safe Haven star told the duo, "There were moments where I felt like choreography-wise, I felt like it was two people dancing side-by-side rather than together. So I really want to see her shine. I've danced with Mark. You have to stand in front to make sure you're seen."

Christina and Mark went on to perform their "last dance" on The View and Good Morning America Tuesday, according to 32-year-old singer's Twitter page.

What do you think about Christina's elimination?

Should she still be on the show? Or were you satisfied with the results?
