The 20-carat Lorraine Schwartz sparkler that Kris Humphries proposed to Kim Kardashian with is auctioned off to a mystery buyer for a whopping price of $620,000 Out with the old, in with the new...Kim Kardashian's engagement ring from Kris Humphries has officially been sold!
Her ex-husband put the 20-carat Lorraine Schwartz sparkler up for auction through Christie's auction house and it sold for much higher than the original asking price, UsWeekly reports.
Bidding for the ring opened at $200,000 and an online mystery buyer eventually won the bauble for $620,000!
While that's obviously a lot of money, it's a far cry from the $2 million it was originally reported that Kris paid for it
However, a source tells UsWeekly that hefty price tag was always overexaggerated. "The ring is definitely not worth $2 million, not even half of that," they tell the mag. In fact, Kim reportedly originally paid for the ring herself!
Now that her engagement ring from Kris is gone, we wonder when Kanye West might give her a new one?
