Lady Gaga has been engaged in a bitter lawsuit with her former assistant, Jennifer O'Neill for quite some time now. In a last-minute settlement, the pop star has avoided going to court as Well, that takes care of that!

Lady Gaga had been engaged in a bitter legal battle with her former assistant Jennifer O'Neill for quite some time now.

Jennifer claimed that Gaga owed her hundreds of thousands of dollars in overtime wages and claimed that Gaga made her do some tasks that she thought were a bit over the top. One such complaint was that Gaga required her to be on call 24/7 and had her do things like change a DVD in the middle of the night if Mother Monster wanted to watch something different.

"You don't get a schedule," the pop star testified in her defense. "You don't get a schedule that is like you punch in and you can play ... at your desk for four hours and then you punch out at the end of the day. This is when I need you, you're available."

Just before the case was set to go to court, Gaga settled with her former assistant for an undisclosed amount.

The two had actually been friends prior to the business arrangement, but we're guessing that's probably the end of that.
