Whose Engagement Ring for Kim Kardashian Was Bigger: Kanye West's or Kris Humphries?

Kanye popped the question to Kim with a sparkler from the same designer Kris Humphries got his from, but which guy's engagement ring is bigger? Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian yesterday, and he just so happened to use the exact same designer Kim's last husband Kris Humphries did for the engagement ring!

Both guys went to celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, but there's a reason Kanye chose the same jeweler her ex-husband did. Lorraine is a close, personal friend of Kim's and the rapper collaborated with Lorraine to design the bauble for his bride-to-be.

"Kanye was involved in every single way," a rep for the jeweler tells E! News. "He had a vision from the beginning. He looked at a lot of stones and he wanted only the best."

The rock Kanye proposed with is 15-carats and is grade D, the best diamond there is. "The ring is flawless," the rep says.

But ironically, her sparkler from her ex-husband Kris Humphries actually had more bling. That rock was 20.5 carats and was auctioned off last week for $620,000. However, Kanye's is likely worth more money.

The 36-year-old gave Kim a ring with one single, massive diamond that was the highest grade cut, while Kris' ring featured a large emerald-cut diamond surrounded by a ring of much smaller ones.

So Kanye's engagement ring looks larger, although it's technically fewer carats.

The Yeezus rapper began dating Kim last April, although they've been friends for years.
