We know that celebs love the spooky holiday just as much as we do (especially these guys!), but when our friend Katie Leclerc from Switched at Birth stopped by last Halloween, she showed us that the holiday is more than just sweets and costumes.
People get so excited about carving a pumpkin that they don't often think about putting the mushy gooey stuff on the inside to good use. But Katie shared her fave pumpkin seed recipe with us, and we just had to share it with you again this year! It's as simple as one, two, three:
1. Boil seeds in salty water for 20 minutes.
2. Leave the seeds on a tray to dry for 1-2 days!
3. Cover with butter/olive oil and salt and bake at 375ºF for 15-20 minutes.
We weren't lying when we said it's simple. So when you're in need of taking a break from finding the best costume (like these) this year, give this recipe a try.
And check out our celeb Halloween costume face-off to vote for your favorite look now!
We're showing you how to eat, drink and be scary this Halloween season.
