Kim Kardashian is all smiles since her engagement to Kanye West earlier this week, but the reality star's first post-engagement sighting is already causing controversy.

The morning after her rapper beau popped the question, Kim stepped out in a big black coat that was full of...fur!

The reality star has been busted by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) in the past for her furry fashion and one animal activist even flour-bombed her during a red carpet to try to send a message.

Apparently, the message wasn't received because Kim's fur was out in full force this week.

In a statement to HipHollywood, PETA's President said that they are hopeful Kim will come around and said, "You just never know what will inspire someone to have a change of heart. We hope that the love they have for each other will inspire them to open their hearts to those with nothing but the skin on their backs and who want only to keep it."

A rep for the organization also said that they are sending the couple a faux fur coat.

Do you think Kim will ever stop wearing fur?

In the meantime, check out one of KimYe's other favorite fashion statements, one that is much less controversial.
