The MTV EMAs red carpet offered up a diverse selection of best and worst dressed candidates.
This is an MTV event, so of course, we expect the fashion choices to be a little more eclectic than your typical stuffy awards shows.
Worst Dressed: Miley Cyrus rocked an itty bitty dress with boots up to there, and it was definitely giving us a bit of a Pretty Woman prostitute vibe. Miley's dress featured Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. faces, a plunging neckline, lacing up the front and a barely there backside.
Best Dressed: Ariana Grande made a huge departure from her usual cutesy pink and puffy fashion style, showing off a figure flattering white dress with gorgeous black lace detailing.
Worst Dressed: Ellie Goulding was a bit of a miss with her EMAs red carpet dress, with an ankle length lace dress that showed off a bit of a bikini look underneath. It would have been more fun as a sleeveless mini-dress. Too. Much. Lace.
Best Dressed: Katy Perry's mint green dress showed off her awesome figure well, but we're kind of on the fence with this--maybe because it's much more conservative than most of Katy's red carpet looks?
Worst Dressed: Iggy Azalea's dress looked like it was caught in the shredder, with an asymmetrical shoulder strap, midsection cutouts and some pretty high-cut slits. Meh.
Best Dressed: Bridgit Mendler looked beautiful in her slinky black dress that showed off just a little bit of skin with a midriff cutout (sometimes less is more!). Bridgit finished the look with natural makeup and a messy updo.
Worst Dressed: Eva Simons always goes big on her hair, so no surprises with her gigantic 'do, but she looked like she grabbed a throw blanket on her way out of the house. There's just a lot going on with the black and white pattern.
