Austin Mahone sure is. He'll be headlining this year's Rock the Red Kettle concert at Universal CityWalk in Los Angeles. The event benefits The Salvation Army, which helps nearly 30 million Americans every year. (But Austin himself, who recently hung out with children at The Salvation Army Miami Shelter, says it best. "They provide so many kids a safe place to live while their parents get back on their feet," he explains. "I'm honored to be part of this great cause and can't wait to perform for my fans on its behalf.")
Joining Austin on stage to help raise money for those in need this holiday season are Kelly Rowland, Bean and Coco Jones.
But you don't have to be a celebrity to help. How can you make a difference? It couldn't be easier. Join Austin's Red Kettle team by starting your own online red kettle. Not only will you be doing good, but you'll also automatically be entered in an awesome sweepstakes. Three lucky grand prize winners will receive a trip to the concert and get to meet Austin in person. Eight lucky runners up will get to hang with him in an online chat. But everyone can watch the show on December 7 at 5 p.m. PT via livestream on The Salvation Army's Tumblr page.
There's no purchase necessary to enter. See the official rules.
