Britney Spears has spent the majority of her life in the spotlight, beginning with her role as a Mouseketeer on The Mickey Mouse Club when she was just a child.

Since then, her fame has increased exponentially and in a new interview with Vegas Player magazine, the pop star confesses that fame does have its pitfalls.

While admitting that she's very grateful for all of it, saying that "it was like a dream" when her career started to take off, she says that it's a "mind-altering experience when you become a pop star at such a young age."

We can definitely understand how that would be extremely difficult for anyone--especially at that age.

Surprisingly, Britney confesses that she's also really shy, saying that she doesn't even like her picture taken and tries to wear the same thing every day to make herself less interesting.

Unfortunately, a good portion of the population finds her VERY interesting, so she probably won't have much luck on that front.

In December, the "Work B**ch" singer will be kicking off her two-year residency in Las Vegas, where she will be performing on alternating weekends at Planet Hollywood.
