We're pretty sure One Direction is doing just fine without sage advice from an older band, but Kings of Leon offered up some little gems for the guys in case they could use some big brother life lessons.
Kings of Leon's Caleb and Nathan Followill offered up a top tip for avoiding scandals--confiscate girls' phones!
In a new interview with The Sun (via Press Party) Nathan offered up this nugget: "If you're going to have a party in a hotel room, have a box at the door and take the girls' phones. That's what gets kids in trouble these days. Every phone is a camera."
Sounds like Justin Bieber could use this advice, doesn't it?
Caleb suggested that Harry, Liam, Louis, Zayn and Niall just stick to who they are and not try and change--after all, 1D has a loyal fanbase that love them as-is.
He explained, "Don't try to turn into a rock band or anything. You are already there and have your music and your fans, so don't try to change what you are."
Nathan even got a little second hand loving when Harry followed him on Twitter, as he explained, "I honestly think I got an extra 2,000 followers when that kid followed me--teenage girls asking me to set them up with him."
Being a friend of Harry's has its benefits!
