For starters, his ex-girlfriend Amber Portwood was just released from prison after being locked up for almost two years while Gary cared for their daughter.

As if that isn't enough, Gary is also having some relationship drama of his own--and surprisingly, it seems unrelated to Amber.

Recently, Gary revealed that he had purchased a promise ring for his lady love. "Promise ring baby to my Girlfriend 1 ct," Gary posted, along with a pic of the ring. "This is an engagement ring, but I bought it as a promise."

Then, on Thanksgiving, he tweeted that he was thankful for his girlfriend (among other things).

Unfortunately, sometime between then and now, things went south in a big way.

In a series of now-deleted tweets (captured by RadarOnline), Gary wrote the following:

"Give a girl a promise ring after 9 months of dating, find out she's in a relationship w someone else after she said she broke up with them f**k!...Lol the sad thing is I believed everything she said haha d**n! Told her she should act!"

So, does that mean that he's getting back together with Amber? Not so fast...

"I'm single and hopefully I find a girl in the future. Not right now, but I'll give it a year (not amber) that ship has sailed!" he wrote in another deleted tweet.

To summarize...Gary was sort of engaged, or committed in a big way, then they broke up, but he's not getting back together with Amber.

We actually like Gary a lot and hope he finds someone who makes him happy!
