The Fast and Furious actor, who was killed in a sudden car crash, once anonymously bought a couple a $10,000 engagement ring they couldn't afford Paul Walker won't be remembered just for his hit movies, such as the Fast & Furious franchise, but he'll also be missed for his big heart and generosity.

An employee at a Santa Barbara jewelry store revealed that the 40-year-old actor, who died in a tragic car crash this weekend, once anonymously bought a struggling couple an engagement ring they couldn't afford years ago.

A solider who'd just finished his a tour in Iraq and was headed on another one was there shopping for rings with his fiancee, according to store clerk Irene King. The bride-to-be liked one set, but the $10,000 price tag was out of their price range.

Paul reportedly overheard the couple's conversation and took care of it himself. "He called the manager and he said, 'Umm, the ring that those people are looking at -- put it on my tab,'" she recalls.

The actor also requested that the store tell the couple it was an anoymous gift. King says they kept it a secret as requested all these years, but wanted to share the story of Paul's random act of kindess since the news of his death.

What a sweet gesture! Paul will surely be missed. Paul Walker's Dad:
